Big Girl Bed!

We inherited a toddler bed from my little siblings who have grown out of it, so we decided to try it last night. It was great! Annie can't open her door from the inside yet so for the first 20 minutes or so, she knocked quietly on the door and asked for mommy (kinda heart-wrenching) but then we heard her crawl into her bed and start reading herself some books and then she was asleep within 35 minutes of us putting her down.

This is her bed. We're using the sheets from the crib since we don't have a princess toddler bedding set yet.

Happy Annie after a nice 10 hour night in bed!


Next task: potty training

How cute! It's so great to hear about Annie's accomplishments since her and Cole are the same age. Cole too is in a toddler bed and can't open the door. Every morning he knocks on his door and says "knock knock" when he is ready for us to get him. It's so funny!

We just purchased a potty chair a few days ago for Cole, but have yet to do anything with it. You'll have to let me know how Annie does with potty training. Good luck! :)
