We got Annie's ears pierced on her 18 month birthday (yesterday). It didn't even phase her. She willingly offered up her ear to the lady who pierced them probably because she wanted to see what would happen. Then the lady clicked the thing and Annie turned her head for the next ear. Even today they don't seem to be sore or anything. Annie keeps fiddling with them so they should heal pretty fast. There's no redness or swelling. We chose 14k white gold balls for Annie's ears and that's what she'll be wearing for the next 6.5 years. On her 8th birthday, we'll take her out to buy a nice selection of earrings.

You can make your baby growup TOO fast if you want to. However, you are hereby on notice that when your baby is no longer a baby, it is time for you to put in an order for another one!!!

Earrings already huh? Well I guess it's better than when they are 7 or 8 and they are afraid to get them pierced- like Madeline! Hey... when you take a trip in 2011 if you need a great travel agent, seriously call my mom- she is amazing when it comes to putting a trip together!
